MYV was established at the end of the year 1999

With the mission of providing high-level consulting in the area of Geotechnical Engineering and Foundations.

MYV starts operations with a clear work philosophy: Integrate the work of the Geologist and the Civil Engineer to achieve the most effective solution to problems in civil works generated by soils or rocks. In this way, the geotechnical investigation, analysis and design are prepared jointly by the Geotechnical Engineer and the Engineering Geologist.

MYV starts operations with a clear work philosophy: Integrate the work of the Geologist and the Civil Engineer to achieve the most effective solution to problems in civil works generated by soils or rocks. In this way, the geotechnical investigation, analysis and design are prepared jointly by the Geotechnical Engineer and the Engineering Geologist.

The MYV service concept is divided into three large groups of activities: Advanced Geotechnical Exploration, Fast-Track Quality Control and Geotechnical Analysis-Design. In geotechnical exploration, MYV is making an effort to innovate by combining the traditional (SPT, laboratory tests) with the futuristic (In Situ Tests such as: Marchetti DMT Dilatometer, SDMT Seismic Dilatometer, CPTU Piezocone, PMT Pressuremeter and wave spectral analysis SASW). In Fast-Track quality control, we are using technological tools to speed up and improve the quality control of construction materials such as concrete (FCT, CTG), steel (Profometer) and fill compaction (CIH, SASW). In the consulting part, MYV includes everything related to establishing a complete geotechnical solution (from the definition of problems on a computer with FEM programs or Excel macros to plans, specifications and constructive inspection). Our design services include: landslides, retaining walls, foundation plates, foundation slabs, piles of any type, micropiles, ground improvement and special problems.

MYV establishes a geotechnical model (soil profile) in accordance with the reality of the environment, in interaction with civil works, both from a geological and engineering point of view. MYV has numerous equipment for on-site tests. The main tools of MYV are the following:
